Judging from the number of mistakes I made yesterday, I should be very careful about doing this until I've either slept or gotten off painkillers (I had four wisdom teeth pulled).
Here, then, briefly:
Prominent pink publication The Economist wants the House to change hands
Doesn't feel Bush should be left unsupervised.
Oh bliss, oh rapture, oh glee, oh frabjous day, oh joy for all my former woes a thousand times repaid
I plan to read it just to watch the two of them try to figure out what to stroke: Andrew Sullivan interviews Camille Paglia, coming soon.
Tom Golisano plans to spend $70m to Green Pataki
Plans to run to the right in swing districts.
It's nice to be able to cross someone off this early on
Senator Lieberman, who apparently has be en too busy protecting the right of corporations to hide stock option losses to read the papers, says that Gore's last minute "anti-business" populism is what cost them the election. Apparently he hasn't heard yet that the whole country is royally pissed at everybody in politics over the corporate scandals and the whole pension thing.
You know, Clinton was to the left of where the current crop of New Democrats sit. I think everyone needs to remember the immortal words of (was it Harry Truman? Think so.):
If you give the people a choice between a Republican and a Republican, they'll choose the Republican every time.
