zarq is making a list (and checking it twice, I'm guessing) of volunteer and activist groups you can join to stave off that bad not doing anything feeling, and he's looking for suggestions. Have at it.

In light of the fact that it was the "Stupid White Men" vote that helped push Bush over the top, I have been doing research into the Black Panthers.
They have mellowed into a fine activist group over the years.
Now, the question is, will the take help from a honky like myself?

in case anyone was thinking this whole "let's work together" thing was being taken seriously by anyone...

Colorado Republican Representative Tom Tancredo said today on the Peter Boyles show on AM 630 KHOW:

"Bipartisanship is overrated."
and then continued with a laughing commentary saying something like "come on, we won, of course we're going to do whatever we want."

at least one of them's not even pretending.
