Exactly my thought. It's an odd decision; seems to be more emotional than business-related. How many of his customers will be pleased with this ban, how many will be disgusted, and how many non-English speakers will be turned away?

With Geno's Steaks tattooed on his arm, Vento is used to publicizing things, especially what's on his mind. Speak English signs also poster his Hummer. He has driven through South Philadelphia blaring through the SUV's P.A. system denunciations of neighborhood business owners who hire illegal immigrants.

This is the guy Alito was trying to convince the Olde Racistes Clubbe at Princeton he wasn't.

Joseph Vento was on Radio Times (feed://www.npr.org/rss/_PODCAST.ENCLOSUREURL_/433/510027/5454476/WHYY_5454476.mp3) (NPR, 91FM) the other day, and he partially reversed himself on air. At least I think he did. It was hard to understand him.
