Eight random things about me:
1) I'm 6'3". I know, you pictured me shorter. I'm not.
2) We shut off the cable years ago because we were down to two channels we'd let the kid watch
3) I collect Hollywood musicals. Also I got the first two seasons of Rocky and Bullwinkle for Valentine's Day last year. If we let her, the kid would watch Philadelphia Story, Please Don't Eat the Daisies or High School Musical every night. We don't.
4) My husband, the Detroit boy, reads car magazines. I, as a child of Manhattan, don't drive.
5) My yard is very popular with the local wildlife. We host nightly visits by three racoons, two possums, a number of cats, and some squirrels. A local hawk has never to our knowledge landed, but has dropped pieces of a squirrel and two pigeons.
6} My mother-in-law has a pilot's license. This not nearly the coolest thing I've learned about her.
7) I can crochet with my eyes closed
8) I have the greatest kid ever (you knew that, though, right?)

Date: 2006-06-11 08:46 am (UTC)4) I suffer from the same condition, and now live in Phoenix. Imagine that.
5) I gather from this that you are not living in Manhattan. Unless you are, and are somehow attracting all those critters into your 'yard'. You may have that power. If you do, stop drawing in coyotes. They don't do well in an urban setting.
6) Lot's of us have mothers-in-laws that can fly. Not so much in planes as such, but you know. I agree that's not the most cool thing about these women. Thier mind control abilities are so much more X-files.
