According to the New York Times, our foreign policy was based on George W. Bush's facial expression

Which, to be fair, is at least more credible than this
Even after Mr. Bush edited the statement that Ms. Rice was scheduled to read Wednesday...

In that ABC interview last week, Gore talked about how the thing that surprised him most about Bush is how incurious he is -- never asking questions about anything.

I can imagine his staff basing policies on King Log's every twitch. Kremlinology within the Kremlin.

(I just looked up the fable. Too bad he's King Stork to the rest of us -- in either the Aesop or Bierce version.)
