Christian "rock" band Creed has troubles:

Fans who felt cheated by Creed's December 2002 Chicago show are getting no sympathy. A judge in Chicago has dismissed a $2 million dollar lawsuit filed by four fans against the band, accusing singer Scott Stapp of appearing too intoxicated to perform well. Stapp has denied the allegation.

The Dec. 29 concert at Allstate Arena reportedly found Stapp forgetting the words to songs, falling down several times and leaving the stage for 10 minutes. So many fans complained that Creed's management sent out an apology, stating, "for now we hope you can take some solace in the fact that you definitely experienced the most unique of all Creed shows."

The judge dismissed the suit "with prejudice," meaning the fans can amend their complaint. One fan, Philip Berenz, told Orlando Sentinel the battle is "by no means" over. Daniel Voelker, the attorney who filed the suit, told the paper, "People may not have always expected a perfect show from Janis Joplin or Jimi Hendrix, but I don't think the general population expected that out of Scott Stapp."

Nah. Maybe Janis or Jimi, but definitely not Scott Stapp.

Janis or Jimi?

How old are these people?

note: their website chat board is called "The Creed Pit"

The tagline is "Get In the Pit"

Something to think about.
