David Brooks: I am tragically bummed to conclude that everyone in Iraq hates the US because "we" [!] didn't understand before the war that the iraqi people are too primitive to accept being free as a gift. Also, I think that the irony of the situation lies in something other than what I just said.

nah. I went with altitudinally challenged because I'm getting a little bored with typing "shorter." I put actual quotes in blockquote to separate them visually. I used to use italics, but folks didn't like them and I conceded.

Shorter Public Figure central is, of course, BusyBusyBusy (=http://www.busybusybusy.com/"), which is also the home of Public Figure in Haiku.
