sisyphusshruggedJust a quick note: I seem to be getting a lot of new people by, and you're welcome to read, browse and leave a note behind, but I should tell you a few things about comments.
I initially put comments on Screen because a bunch of comment spammers discovered Live Journal and I was getting tired of deleting fifty invitations to go see incestuous underaged south asian virgin lesbian anal threeways every time I sat down at the computer.
That said, I think maybe the fierceness of my last few days' posts may have given some folks the wrong impression.
Specifically, whatever side of the fence you're on, if there's someone you'd like to see dead or tortured, the only person who's going to read about it here is me, because I'm not going to unscreen your comment.
I feel strongly that everyone with an important decision to make deserves as much of the information as they can get, and while my reaction is going to come into it, I really do try to give cites for what I'm responding to. I understand that given the stuff I write about, people are going to be outraged sometimes (hell, I am) and want to say something about it.
If what you want to say about it is that some group of people deserves to die, please take a deep breath and go away until it passes, because I'm the only one who's going to see it, and I'll answer it up front: no.
I'm also not crazy about drivebys, but whatever.
Well, there's a cheery welcome. Sorry about that. Except for this part, I hope you come away with something you can use.
