Mary Beth, who as I may have mentioned earlier is running for office in Maine, has been respecting public financing limits, as her opponent promised to (but as it turns out, didn't) do.
This is apparently SOP for her opponent and his campaign manager. We have enough people like that being paid to tell us what to do, don't you think?
Along those lines, she's started up her fundraising again with a week to go to the election (she had previously shut it down, not understanding that her opponent's a unilateral disarmament kinda guy (who is in the wrong party, jmo (nested parentheses! I'm so excited!) and should be thoroughly ashamed of himself)) and she's kinda behind.
Please go by Wampum or the campaign website if you can spare a few bucks or to drop off an attagirl or, ideally, both.
