This makes me happy.
A voter in Louisiana is filing a legal challenge to defective Congressman Rodney Alexander's ballot qualification, and seeks an injunction preventing the Secretary of State from issuing ballots printed with his name. The petition, filed by a voter and based on both Louisiana statute and prior precedent, rightly argues that Alexander's SECOND filing 20 minutes before the deadline is in effect a withdrawal of his candidacy under Louisiana law since candidates are prohibited from amending their ballot qualification in any way once it has been made. Others in Louisiana have been tossed for just this kind of behavior in the past. Look for a news releases from multiple parties soon...

Love it.

Though I'm sure the Republicans will be howling that the Democrats are trying to stop democracy, just as they're doing when they try to make Nader follow the ballot rules.

Yeah, I'd love to see that - Our guy announced he wasn't switching, registered as a Democrat and changed his registration fifteen minutes before the filing deadline, since when we've been trying to push the other Republican candidate out of the race (and he's not playing ball, either) and the Democrats got all sleazy...

In the latest Bush commercial he "can't imagine" how it feels to choose which child to pick up first on Sept. 11. Infuriating! Rice "couldn't imagine" planes flying into buildings. Maddening! The 9/11 commision hit it right on the nose. These people are responsible for gross failures of imagination. Incompetent idiots. That ad makes me so damn angry!

Well, it shows how much time he spent with his kids. You pick up the kid that wiggles least first.

The Sophie's Choice aspect of that statement is beneath contempt.
